Meet Dr. Vinita Patel
Providing quality dentistry throughout Ballantyne & Greater Charlotte
Dr. Vinita Patel attended North Carolina State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky. She has lived in Charlotte since 2000.
Dr. Patel is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, at her local gym burning calories or doing yoga to heal the spirit and mind. Aside from dentistry, dancing is her second love. Her dream is to one day open a Bollywood Dance Studio in Charlotte.
Meet Dr. Ashutosh Patel
Dr. Ashutosh Patel (Dr. Ash) was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2010 to pursue his American dream. He attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte for his undergrad where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Ash then attended Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine for his Dental education where he graduated top of his class with Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors.
Dr. Ash believes in providing his patients with comprehensive dental care with a focus on restoring both esthetics and function. He loves spending time with his patients during their visits to connect with them on a personal level to help them achieve their dream smile.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Ash loves spending time with his family and friends. In his free time he loves cycling, gardening, and hiking. He also enjoys playing tennis with his brother on the weekends. Dr. Ash is a firm believer in giving back to the community and thus he has actively volunteered for the mission of mercy outreach program in the past and is planning to continue to do so in the future to help the underserved population who cannot even afford basic dental care.
Meet Dr. Rachel Grandinetti
Dr. Rachel Grandinetti was born and raised in North Carolina and is ecstatic to join the team at Ballantyne Family Dental. After attending North Carolina State University, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Grandinetti attended a General Practice Residency program at The Ohio State University where she had an additional year of dental training. Dr. Grandinetti has a genuine passion for dentistry and creating a positive experience for her patients.
Dr. Grandinetti enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the beach whenever possible. When she’s not with patients, you can find her reading, trying new restaurants with her fiancé, and showing everyone pictures of her dog, Scout.
